Customer Reviews

Overall Rating: 4.88 / 5

  • FRASER G. Everyone was professional and courteous. They worked w/ me to get things done in a very short timeframe. There's no question that I would like to use them again.
  • REGINALD M. It was good service from the start to the finish, this was the best customer service that I have ever received.
  • JOHN H. Because of the delay which messed up the plans to leave for Florida. It caused the buyers to leave their stuff on the truck overnight. It took 8 hours to load the van they left at 9pm. I was shocked it took so long. As a result the ppl that bought the house had to delay their delivery until the next day.
  • DAVID & BERNICE S. The driver handled everything and the packing crew labeled everything correctly so it made it easy for me to find my goods, they were just amazing. The driver was the best driver I have ever had and I would give him a 10 if I could.
  • STEFFANIE P. I thought the driver and crew was very professional and personable. They were there when they said they'd be. They went the extra mile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whats your #1 packing tip?

Decide which items you want to keep and which items you will dispose of. Have a garage sale, put a notice in the newspaper of items you’d like to sell, or put items up for sale on Craig's List.

Whats the strangest thing you've ever had to move?

We have moved a large collection of taxidermy animals for the Safari Club which included lions, cape buffalo, antelope, and rhinos.

How do you treat special items?

Valuables, such as cash, coins, jewelry, photographs, and important papers should be taken with you or sent ahead. Be sure to use a traceable service, such as FedEx and United Parcel Service.

When is the best time to move?

Plan an Off-Peak Season Move (when possible). June to September is the high season. If you can avoid moving during those months, you will likely receive better service. If you must move during the high season, move mid-month, mid-week, and avoid the end of the month.

What other services do you provide?

Baymeadows Moving & Storage provides a secure, climate controlled facility for long term storage or items which require special care. Baymeadows Moving & Storage will place your items into clean vaults and crates in our secure storage area. All furniture will be pad wrapped and your bin will be sealed

What type of charities do you participate in?

Baymeadows Moving and Storage is heavily involved with Angel Aid. Angel Aid is a local charity which has helped over 2,000 children in our tri-county Jacksonville, Florida USA area (and their families) who have life-threatening diseases or situations. Baymeadows Moving and Storage will take your unwanted goods for donation to Angel Aid's Thrift Store..
