  • PASSMORE D. Any question I had was answered. The ppl at North American were helpful. The driver called frequently and kept me informed about the move. The driver tried to reassure me about the move.
  • KOBIALKA G. The professionalism of the drivers as well as the crew and the people in the office was great. The move was well worth every penny that I spent.
  • CRUZ A. The delivery team was very professional, they followed through from beginning to end, they are well qualified to do the job and they are very honest people.
  • KOOY W. I have used North American Van Lines in all of my past moves and everything was done in a professional and excellent manner.
  • GORDON N. The driver, Kyle Williams, was the ultimate professional. The crew, packers, unpackers & loaders did a great job. The driver used 2 other crew members and these ppl were great.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whats your #1 packing tip?

I always tell people we can pack as much or as little as you need- if they come to pick up free boxes from us I always give them the tip about packing dishes. Most people think just packing them flat makes the most sense- and they end up with broken pieces. Pad the bottom of the box with news print, and start packing with your dishes first. Heaviest and most dense on the bottom and paper in between each layer. When you finish each box, make sure you put enough paper in that box that when you pick it up and shake it, nothing moves. Pack tight.

Whats the strangest thing you've ever had to move?

We moved a giant old anchor and cannon from the Florida Keys location to another. They are historic pieces. Pics on our FB page! .

How do you treat special items?

As if they belonged to one of our own. And whatever the customer asks to make them more comfortable with us moving it, we'll do it.

When is the best time to move?

Honestly- ANYTIME, if you're using our agency because you'll get the same amount of care no matter the season! Obviously though, Fall and Winter are the easiest to accommodate unusual date requests. Haulers and planning can be a little more flexible during that time. And, price is always better then, also.

What other services do you provide?

We provide handling and delivery for interior designers such as Nate Berkus himself, and will also provide labor to a customer that maybe can't afford to use our services as a WHOLE but can't load the truck themselves. We also have outdoor storage for buses, RVs and boats. And a weigh station! (No charge for Allied/ NAVL!)

What type of charities do you participate in?

We are involved in Expressions dance company locally, as Royal Box members, I (Adrienne) personally, volunteer to put on the annual BBQ for their non profit dance company. I am their membership VP on the board. I am also involved in Soroptimist International of Homestead, a worldwide service organization dedicated to the empowerment of women through economic (scholarships) and personal support, focusing on the Human Trafficking issue currently. I am the Southern Region membership chair. I am also on the board of our local Theatre, the Seminole Theatre. Robert, my husband, is involved in Rotary and in past, was president of both Military Affairs as well as Rotary at the SAME TIME! When Hurricane Sandy blew through NY, we got NAVL to donate a trailer and driver to haul a trailer full of donations up to the Rockaway area. THAT was amazing and I couldn't be more grateful for that! Pics on our FB page. We've been known to give. Just give. All that you possibly can. You never know what someone else is fighting and your one hand extended out could make the biggest difference in someone else's life.
