Manitou Springs is known as Colorado Springs’ eclectic neighbor. Located 6 miles west of the big city, it’s a small resort town with a population of 5,334. Residents enjoy low crime and excellent school districts. The median household income is $51,628 while the median sale price for a home is $258,400. Located in western Colorado Springs, The Broadmoor is the upscale neighborhood of the city. It’s home to the stunning Broadmoor Hotel and Resort, now almost 100 years old. Next to the North Cheyenne Canyon, it has great access to waterfalls and beautiful trails. In terms of real estate, it’s filled with mansions built in the first half of the 20th century.
