SIRVA Strengthens European Leadership Team

LONDON, January 9, 2004 – SIRVA, Inc. (NYSE: SIR), a global relocation services provider, has appointed David Nicol as president of its European and Asia Pacific Operations.

“David is a terrific business leader who brings a wealth of skills and experiences to drive our business and lead our organization throughout Europe and Asia Pacific,” said Brian P. Kelley, SIRVA’s president and chief executive officer. “As we expand our ‘Relocation Redefined’ concept of combining moving and relocation services to our global clients, David is perfectly suited to lead the charge.”

Nicol will be based at SIRVA’s European headquarters in London and will drive growth, customer-led quality, talent development and strategy setting in all of SIRVA’s businesses in Europe and Asia Pacific. He will report directly to Brian Kelley.

Nicol brings with him more than 20 years experience of working with global organizations including Berli Jucker Plc, (a quoted affiliate of First Pacific) based in Bangkok where he held the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer before moving to Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this Nicol was Deputy Financial Controller, moving to Group Vice President,

Finance for First Pacific Company Limited, based in Hong Kong. Nicol began his career with Price Waterhouse Cooper and has worked in their London, New York and Hong Kong Offices.

A British/Australian, Nicol is married with two sons, and lives in Buckinghamshire, U.K.
