SIRVA Forms Dedicated Client Technologies Group

Matthew B. Dickerson Takes the Reigns of Customer-Focused Technology Group

CHICAGO, February 24, 2005 — SIRVA Inc., (NYSE: SIR), a global relocation services provider, has announced the formation of a client technologies group dedicated to providing world-class technological solutions for its growing customer base. Matthew B. Dickerson, a 10-year IT veteran of SIRVA, will head the group as vice president of client technologies.

“As we continue to redefine relocation, it’s important we provide our clients with useful technologies to help them solve their real-life relocation challenges,” said Tim Callahan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for SIRVA. “With Matt’s IT experience at SIRVA, he’s the perfect person to lead this team in assuring our customers get the customized Web-based information management solutions they need that we feel they can’t get elsewhere.”

Dickerson said the new technologies group will act as a technical advocate among SIRVA, its clients, and their respective technology departments, and will offer IT enhancements to each individual company as a result of the dialogue among those stakeholders.

“The value we offer is augmented by the fact that our clients will be working with a person who is both an expert in relocation and technology,” Dickerson explained. “We know all facets of the relocation process from a U.S. domestic and a global perspective, plus we have the technological discipline and rigor to make sure we’re delivering the right applications for each individual client.”

Dickerson added, “Sales today is much more than meeting with a prospective customer. It means having subject matter experts with a depth of knowledge and experience who can speak to SIRVA’s core competencies in direct relationship to the customer’s needs. In today’s fast-paced IT world, that means addressing important elements like security, privacy and process automation while using technology as an enabler.”

Dickerson has been with SIRVA since 1995 and has held a variety of positions in technology groups during that time. He has been instrumental in developing many of the systems in place today throughout the SIRVA service centers. He has served as director of information technology and director of e-Commerce and Internet technologies. His team also is responsible for the company’s enterprise-wide sales force automation and customer relationship management (CRM) application.

Dickerson is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and a member of the Employee Relocation Council’s technology advisory board, the e-Solutions Thinktank. He holds a wide variety of technology industry certifications and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Cleveland State University.
