I've had bad moves in the past, but since using Northamerican a year ago w/my move I'm happy w/them. This current move of my mother-in-law was executed exceptionally. The packers should be paid more. The professional attitude of the driver, crew & sales representative and reasonable cost influenced my rating. The coordinator, the loading crew and driver all showed they cared about my furniture. A piece of my furniture was dropped and I'm having a hard time appraising the value of it. The driver and the partner did a good job communicating and being on time. Whatever the people said the people was going to do, was done. The people did a good job. The delivery team delivered everything in tact because nothing was broken. The delivery team was on time and able to assemble a heavy marble table with no problems. The quality of both the people who packed and delivered our goods. The crew was careful and we were satisfied with the overall move. The driver was amazing, talked to us from Iowa, was completely professional, on time, maintained a professional mode regardless of what troubles were happening in Iowa to the driver's home. The move was timely and efficient the only thing was where I moved from the truck was a little big and it was difficult for the movers to get things out, there should have been a smaller truck. Everything that was done came out to be good. I waned to get my items to be delivered within a week and Van Lines was able to accomplish that. The driver and the crew were really great, wonderful people. They kept us in the loop on everything(communication) and followed our instructions on when to pack things (in what order).
