Moving Coverage | Valuation Protection

North American International takes all possible care to ensure that your possessions arrive in the same condition as they left. Sometimes, however, the unexpected can happen when moving overseas.

That is where our valuation protection program comes in. We offer comprehensive coverage for all your valuable possessions. If an item is lost or damaged beyond repair while moving overseas, you'll receive reimbursement for the full replacement cost - without consideration of depreciation - up to the declared value you placed on the item.

Valued Inventory

Our Valued Inventory Form will help you determine the appropriate level of coverage. It's important that you declare adequate coverage and that you insure all items...and all items should be valued at the replacement cost in your destination country. If you have any questions or require additional information regarding our coverage program, please ask your North American International representative.

Storage Coverage

Your goods are also insured during storage. Your shipment is covered for the normal course of transit from the time it was packed until it reaches the destination.

The moving storage coverage is shown below:

In the case of:

• (a) Household Goods
• (b) Motor Vehicle

At Origin:

• 120 days at origin and/or destination
• 60 days

At Destination:

• 30 Days
