Policy Counseling

Program and policy counseling continue throughout the course of the transferee's relocation, with a designated Relocation Counselor being the single point of contact and accountability to the transferee for all aspects of service. The Counselor follows standardized transferee communications protocol, which is facilitated by system-generated prompts to ensure continuity of service. The Counselor is however, deliberately flexible in adjusting the communications plan to fit the need of the transferee. Throughout the relocation, the Counselor guides them through the relocation process but does not ‘force' them to work the process in a single, pre-determined fashion. The Counselor lays out critical dates, critical actions and accountabilities and then devises a "roll out" plan for service delivery that is consistent with the employee's own stages in the offer/employment/move cycle.

Home Sale Assistance

SIRVA provides a data-driven approach to pricing and strategy development, which results in a strong buy-in from the transferee from the onset of the process. SIRVA's program is designed to offer insight and expertise to drive transferee confidence through the integration of internal channel expertise, business intelligence systems and the process oversight needed to fully analyze, explain and control every component of the home marketing process. The inclusion of internal real estate experts on SIRVA's service team will deliver more accurate assessment of predictive costs; the ability to effectively establish employee expectations regarding price and market length based on critical data; and ultimately reduced costs and relocation cycle times.

Service delivery is managed by the same Relocation Counselor who manages departure services, so the transferee has a single, seamless point of contact throughout the relocation. The objective is to provide job candidates, new hires, transferring employees and their families with one-on-one consultation and the proper resources required to help them make informed decisions. SIRVA coordinates the intake of employee needs in order to present the employee and family with community and real estate options that align with their expectations. Additionally, the Relocation Counselor guides the transferee through the offer and closing process, paying particular attention to ensuring proper home value for resale or successive transfer.

Renter Assistance

SIRVA supports end-to-end service for renters through our dedicated corporate housing and rental operations. SIRVA Corporate Housing offers a national rental network comprised of companies that primarily provide rental assistance services, as opposed to Real Estate Brokers who primarily sell homes but can assist with rentals. Our network includes rental assistance companies, property management companies and landlords. All Agents are required to perform to service level agreement standards, with key performance metrics monitored and evaluated on a per file basis.

Full-service rental assistance is provided to the employee through the Relocation Counselor. Assistance includes a full needs intake, agent selection and management, destination orientation, community searches, web-previews and scheduling of appointments. As with all authorizations, the first contact with the transferee includes a discussion of client policy and employee needs, expectations, timing and budget. Personal attention is given to all aspects of the employee's home finding preparation needs, as well as review on common lease provisions in rental contracts.
